Elia's Paws – Terms & ConditionsEffective Date: June 2025

1. Services Offered- Elia's Paws provides personalised pet care including dog walking, drop-in visits, home holiday cover and pet companionship services primarily (but not limited to) Tampere, Kangasala, and Nokia.2. Booking & Cancellations- Bookings are made via email or agreed messaging.
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged in full.3. Access to Your Home- Clients may provide keys or arrange for third-party access.
- Elia's Paws stores keys securely and returns them upon request.
- A log of key handover and return is maintained.4. Emergency Contact & Health- Clients must provide an emergency contact and relevant health details for each pet.
- In case of emergency, Elia's Paws will attempt to contact the owner and emergency contact before taking necessary action (e.g. veterinary visit).5. Liability- Elia's Paws operates with the highest care and professionalism.
- However, we are not liable for injury, illness, loss, or death of pets unless caused by proven negligence.
- We require pets to be microchipped ( in line with Finnish laws) and recommend pets wear ID tags.6. Photos & Marketing- We love sharing photos of your pets enjoying their time with us.
- Photos may be used for marketing (e.g. Instagram, website), but identifying details like name, address, or owner's identity will not be included.
- Clients may opt out by notifying us in writing or by speaking with our staff directly.7. Behaviour & Safety- We reserve the right to refuse or pause services for pets that display aggressive or dangerous behaviour. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
- Any known behavioural issues must be disclosed in writing at the time of booking.8. Changes to Terms- These terms may be updated as the business evolves. Any changes will be published at eliaspaws.com.

- Contact information (email, phone number)
- Address (for service delivery)
- Pet details (name, breed, health notes)2. Why We Collect It- To provide and personalise pet care services
- To communicate with clients about bookings, changes, and emergencies
- For administrative and service planning purposes3. How We Store It- Securely on email, calendar, and private digital notes
- Keys are stored in a locked, labelled container when in possession4. Who Can See Your Data- Only Elia's Paws staff (and any agreed support staff) have access to personal data.
- We never sell or share your data with third parties.5. Your Rights- You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time.
- Just email [email protected]6. Data Retention- Data is retained for as long as you remain a client.
- If inactive for 12 months, your data will be deleted unless legally required otherwise.7. Cookies & Website- We do not currently use cookies or collect analytics data.
